Religion, sex, politics. Three topics we are told never to talk about in polite company.

I hear so often from people that they feel discouraged and don’t know what to do about our political system in America. They say that it is just too corrupt and that we are doomed. I hear them say that nothing they do will make a difference. I tell them what I’m telling you right now. You DO have the power to make a ripple and a difference. The change in our country starts with talking about the tough and tricky subjects we usually avoid. We must talk about faith, politics and how our sex-crazed culture is destructive to our country. Every major change starts at a micro level. It starts with two friends having a conversation about something they are passionate about. It starts with them having an honest civil discourse even if they disagree with each other.

It starts with family being willing to discuss the tough matters of our culture around the table or at holidays and finding common ground.

It starts with an individual or a few friends becoming passionate about a cause and hosting a simple event at a park or their home to discuss the with their friends, family, neighbors about the issue at hand. It starts with patriotic individuals taking a leap of faith and running for a seat in their county government. And most importantly, more important than anything above, it is absolutely EVERYTHING for moms and dads to teach their children the principles of freedom. Parents, it is up to you to inspire your children and grandchildren with patriotism in their youth. Don’t know where to start on any of these? I recommend you start by doing just one thing...

Read The 5,000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen. The principles of freedom 101.
